A mixed bag for this week's update: Bitcoin up, hashrate up, difficulty flat, fees down; hashprice is down(ish).

Over the past week, miners collected a total of ~3,214 BTC in block rewards, equivalent to ~$253 million. Transaction fees constituted 0.64% of block rewards totalling 20 BTC, equivalent to ~$1.60 million.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin moved by +2.1% from ~$76,933 to a current price of ~$78,563. Year-to-date (YTD) performance stands at -10.1%.

Hashprice

USD hashprice moved -0.7% from $39.64 per PH/s/Day to a current $39.36 per PH/s/Day.

BTC hashprice moved -0.2% from 0.00050327 BTC per PH/s/Day to 0.00050227 BTC per PH/s/Day.

Based on fleetwide efficiency, bitcoin mining operations are currently earning the following SHA-256 compute revenues per watt-hour:

• Under 14 J/TH fleets — $136 per MWh
• 14-19 J/TH fleets — $99 per MWh
• 19-25 J/TH — $74 per MWh
• 25-38 J/TH — $51 per MWh

Hashrate & Difficulty

Network hashrate changed by +3.3%, with the 7-day simple moving average (SMA) moving from 886 EH/s to 915 EH/s. The 30-day SMA currently stands at 912 EH/s.

The latest difficulty adjustment took place on August 23, 2026, changing network difficulty by -1.31% to 125.81T.
